Stucco Colors For Houses Exterior Materials
Given that stucco is basically plaster for exterior uses, it is therefore the perfect canvas for color. White may be common, based on historical precedents in modern architecture, but houses that respond to local concerns — especially climate and the effects of the sun — may benefit from some sort of color.
Additionally, if there is already stucco on your house, you can't stucco over it as the new material won't properly bond to the new paint and therefore will crack and fall off rather quickly. However, if the stucco is in good condition, you can easily paint over it usually without any problems.
But unlike our clothes, we can't change our siding material easily. Even though we can change colors and accessories depending on the material chosen, most of us take a "one and done" approach to the exterior of our houses. We don't want to repaint, restain or any of that. We want something that looks good on day one and for many years to come.
